Chris J. Scheldrup is a founding attorney of Corridorlaw Group Iowa and a trusted legal advocate with more than 25 years of experience representing clients across Iowa. Recognized for his work in workplace injury law, Chris brings deep knowledge of Iowa workers’ compensation, civil litigation, and insurance defense. Based in Cedar Rapids, he has built a reputation for clear communication, practical legal advice, and strong courtroom advocacy.



Chris began his legal career in defense work, representing employers, insurers, and self-insured businesses in complex litigation. Today, he draws on that experience to represent injured workers and businesses alike, offering a unique perspective that benefits clients on both sides of a dispute.

Chris Scheldrup has handled thousands of workers’ compensation cases across Iowa. He has tried cases before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner and has appeared in appellate matters before the Iowa Court of Appeals.


He is a frequent speaker on Iowa work comp law and has trained attorneys, HR professionals, and insurance representatives on legal updates and claim strategy. Over his career, Chris has built relationships with medical experts, insurance representatives, and rehabilitation professionals across the state—resources he continues to leverage for the benefit of his clients.
