Associate Attorney
Thania M. Rios

From Paralegal to Attorney—Built on Experience, Dedicated to Results
Thania Rios is an Associate Attorney at Corridorlaw Group Iowa, bringing a thoughtful, business-savvy approach to her legal practice. A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, where she earned her J.D. with distinction in 2025, Thania adds fresh insight and nearly a decade of hands-on legal experience to the firm’s growing team.
Before law school, Thania spent seven years as a paralegal in Chicago, working in civil litigation defense, high-volume transactional law, and administrative legal work, including real estate tax appeals. That foundation gave her a practical, technical perspective that shapes her approach to client service today.
Background & Experience
During law school, Thania expanded her focus to corporate and compliance work through internships at Simple Mills and Deere & Company, where she supported in-house legal teams on a wide range of business issues. She also served as Senior Articles Editor for The Journal of Gender, Race, and Justice, which published her student note in 2025: Beyond the Coogan Fund: The Failure of Financial Solutions to Address Legal and Ethical Dilemmas.
Her practice interests center on supporting businesses—whether in transactions, defending claims, or navigating regulatory challenges. Clients benefit from her ability to blend detail-oriented legal analysis with big-picture strategy.
